1. Conveyor belt joint production:
When making conveyor belt joints, QMH tie gum is an indispensable material. It is filled between the two layers of conveyor belts at the joint, and is tightly combined with the rubber layer and skeleton material of the conveyor belt through the hot vulcanization process to form a joint with high strength and good integrity, ensuring the strength and running stability of the conveyor belt at the joint, so that it can withstand tension and load similar to the original conveyor belt.
2. Repair of internal damage of conveyor belt:
When damage such as fracture of skeleton material and separation of rubber and skeleton occurs inside the conveyor belt, the QMH tie gum can be implanted into the damaged part, and then hot vulcanized treatment can be performed to re-combine the tie gum with the internal structure of the conveyor belt, restore the strength and performance of the conveyor belt, and extend its service life.
3. Strengthening and repairing rubber products:
In addition to conveyor belts, it can also be used to strengthen and repair other rubber products, such as rubber shock absorbers, rubber springs, rubber seals, etc. Adding QMH tie gum to these rubber products can improve their strength, elasticity and fatigue resistance, repair their internal damage, and restore their original functions.
1. Surface treatment:
Thoroughly clean the parts of the conveyor belt to be repaired or connected, remove impurities such as oil, dust, rust, etc., and then grind the surface to make it rough, so as to increase the bonding area and bonding strength with the core rubber.
2. Gluing and laminating:
Evenly apply an appropriate amount of hot vulcanized glue on the treated surface. After the glue is dry and not sticky, accurately fit the cut tie gum to the corresponding part, and compact it with tools to exhaust the air to ensure that the core rubber is tightly fitted to the surface of the conveyor belt without bubbles and gaps.
3. Vulcanization parameter control:
Put the conveyor belt with the tie gum laminated into the vulcanization equipment, and accurately set the vulcanization temperature, pressure and time according to the material, thickness, performance of the core rubber and other factors of the conveyor belt. Generally, the vulcanization temperature is between 140℃-160℃, the pressure is between 0. 8MPa-1. 2MPa, and the vulcanization time depends on the specific situation, usually ranging from 30 minutes to several hours. During the vulcanization process, the stability of the vulcanization parameters must be strictly controlled to avoid conditions such as too high or too low temperature, insufficient or excessive pressure, and too long or too short vulcanization time, otherwise it will affect the vulcanization effect and bonding strength between the core rubber and the conveyor belt.
4. Post-vulcanization treatment:
After the vulcanization is completed, wait for the vulcanization equipment to cool naturally to room temperature and take out the conveyor belt. Check the repair or joint parts. If there are excess rubber edges or uneven places, trim and polish them to make the surface smooth and ensure the normal operation of the conveyor belt.
1. Storage conditions:
It should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, avoiding direct sunlight and humid environment. The storage temperature is generally between 5℃-30℃, away from fire and heat sources to prevent the tie gum from deteriorating, aging or self-vulcanization.
2. Shelf life management:
Pay attention to check the shelf life of the hot-vulcanized core rubber and use it within the shelf life to ensure its performance and quality. For core rubber that is close to the expiration date or has been opened but not used up, quality inspection should be carried out. If any abnormal conditions such as hardening, softening, discoloration or viscosity change are found, it should be stopped.
3. Packaging protection:
The integrity of the original packaging of the QMH tie gum should be maintained during storage to prevent the packaging from being damaged, causing the core rubber to be contaminated or contacted with air, moisture, etc., which may affect the performance.
1. Appearance inspection:
Observe whether there are defects such as bubbles, cracks, impurities on the surface of the core rubber, and whether the color is uniform. If there is any abnormality, it should be handled or replaced in time.
2. Dimension measurement:
Check whether the thickness, width, length and other dimensions of the core rubber meet the product standards and use requirements to ensure that it can meet the needs of conveyor belt repair or joint production.
3. Performance test:
The tensile strength, elongation at break, hardness, bonding strength and other performance indicators of the hot-vulcanized core rubber are tested by professional testing equipment to ensure that its performance meets the relevant standards and actual use requirements. When using QMH tie gum, it is necessary to strictly follow the operating procedures and process requirements to give full play to its performance advantages and ensure the quality of repairs and joints of rubber products such as conveyor belts.
